Hand-wrap reels are seldom used as it is the least effective. However, they may be utilized together with a floating system to shoot and catch big trophy fish.
Although you bow equipment fish from the beach or shore, most bowfishers often shoot from boats. Bowfishing boats are specifically customized for the sport. It has a high-level shooting platform and equipment with a generator to provide electricity for lights if you do bowfishing during nighttime. The motor and fan at the stern of the boat are likewise mounted on a higher position.
